With so many blogs, fan pages, websites, youtube channels and all the other mumbo-jumbo you can find on the web about Game of Thrones, one has to ask how to be creative, original and provide something new to the fandom. I will say it at the start – I don’t have those aspirations. Of course I will try to be original and creative, but my primary goal is to keep a kind of diary, journal about GoT. It will be about my observation and random thoughts about ASOAIF universe, but mostly just about the show.
I don’t have any actual plan, but I do have some topics I would like to write down for myself. First of all, I would like to drop a few lines about the author himself, George RR Martin. Much is known about him, but I will try to provide you with my own view of this bearded mage.
Secondly, I would like to write something about the first two seasons. Don’t get me wrong, last few seasons were great, but I am already kind of used to all the gore and schemes and character actions that I barely find myself surprised by it. That is why I will give an overview of the first 2 seasons of Game of Thrones – they really gripped me hard at the time, and I think they are the best piece of TV material that has ever been played around.
For the rest of the diary I cannot guarantee much – it will be the things related to the show which I think most about at the time of writing. There is not much going on now, so I’ll mostly reflect on past events.
